This single-origin light roast comes from the Rio Negro region in remote southern Costa Rica, known for its exceptional coffee culture. The area's well-defined rainy season ensures the optimal conditions for coffee flowering, resulting in a high-quality, complex coffee blend.

The Rio Negro region is home to Hacienda Rio Negro, which became the first farm in Costa Rica to receive Rainforest Alliance Certification in 2001. Today, approximately 700 acres of coffee are grown, primarily from the Catuai and Caturra varietals. The coffee is carefully processed and sun-dried, resulting in a clean and flavorful brew.
